PIX / FRAMEWORK

Intent data is useful. Context decides whether it matters.

Intent signals become commercially useful only when they are interpreted against fit, timing, account context and the action a team can actually take.

Intent data needs context.

Intent data can show movement. It does not automatically show meaning. A signal becomes useful when a team understands who created it, why it matters, whether the account fits and what action should follow.

A signal is not a decision.

Many teams overreact to isolated movement. A spike in activity can indicate research, vendor comparison, competitor evaluation, hiring, implementation pain or simple noise. Context decides which interpretation is credible.

The ICP is not a static list.

A useful ICP should behave like a decision system. It combines firmographic fit, operational readiness, buying triggers, observed behaviour and exclusion logic. That makes prioritization explainable instead of subjective.

What intelligence should produce.

  • A clearer account priority
  • A reason the account matters now
  • A route for sales, marketing or research
  • A confidence level
  • A decision to act, hold, enrich or ignore

That is the difference between buying a data feed and building an intelligence layer. The value is not the signal itself. The value is the decision quality it creates.
